Painting in Wisconsin isn't like painting in Texas.
Our winters destroy bad paint jobs. Freeze-thaw cycles flex siding, expand nail heads, and crack any coating that wasn't applied with the right prep and primer.
We paint between May and September when temperatures and humidity let paint cure properly. We use moisture-tolerant primers on older wood, flexible exterior formulas, and pay special attention to south-facing walls that take the worst UV.
It's not glamorous, but it's why our exteriors still look right after five winters.
